OEM Alternator
Need a proven good used alternator for trouble shooting or to replace a bad one for not too much $$$? Here's an OEM GM/Valeo 145 amp alternator with solid pulley. Removed from '08 Z06 w/ approx. 40k mi. Fits all C6's '05 - '13 except ZR1. Inspected and tested. Brushes, regulator, diodes, bearings, output all check out OK.

1) No. It has a multiwire connector on top and a stud on the back - same as every GM alternator. The big wire on the stud is for output and the little wires in the connector control the output.
2) 145amp
3) Maybe, depends on which car or truck the (LS whatever) motor is in. Mounting brackets, pulley spacing, and connectors can vary among different vehicles with the same motor.
The part no. on this alternator is 25888971, however that no. has been changed and now the current part no. is 25888970. GM does that from time to time for a variety of reasons known only to them. The application for pn. 25888970 is all C6's, '05 - '13, except Zr1s. So this alternator may fit or could be made to work on other vehicles, but for sure it fits C6 Corvettes ( LS2,3,7 ) except Zr1s (LS9).

Thanks for this but I don't think it will work.
The LQ9 engine with LS3 heads is for my 69 Camaro and the PSI harness connector for the Alternator only has 1 wire.
The connector that plugs into the Alt has 4 ports but there is only 1 wire that is pinned.
I'll check with PSI and see which Alternator will work.

On this one the connector also has 4 ports, but three are used. Certainly not plug & play for your application. Devil's in the details on custom builds, good luck with your project.
