I think a brand new c7 delivered to your door would be quite appropriate and well received

I think they should do a front page article on you guys and list all your handles. And this is on top of new C7's for you all.

I'll hit 20 years in March I believe. I remember when we were trying to determine how soon we would hit 1000 members!

I must admit, the forum was a lot more fun back then. Sure miss those days. It still is fun, but in a much different way, and is still #1 for Corvette information of any kind.

Congrats all of you!
LOL, oh it was around, but you had to know code and type long command strings to get into a site. There were no easy clickable links to take you everywhere, and no search engines. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) created it starting in the 70s, and I was using it in the 80s when I was a very young, just out of grad school, NASA scientist.

Remember Al Gore took some credit for it's creation, and he took a lot of crap for it, but that's actually true. He didn't "invent the internet" or even claim to, as his political opponents loved to joke during his Presidential campaign. However, as a US Senator, he was it's primary advocate for funding as the resident geek, and probably is the main reason it did get funded when it did.

Just hope I'm still around for being on the forum 20 years. Still have about 2.5 years to go.

For those of you coming up on 20 years already, congrats.
