Meth leak
Well I went into the garage earlier to check for something and see a small pool of fluid behind the drivers side front wheel .
While touching it to see what it is , I figured out its meth due to the cold feeling .
Seeing as I'm not really mechanically gifted., How would I find out if Its either the windshield washer tank that's leaking or the meth pump ?
I guess I should drain the tank but again , not sure how to do this either , any help would be gratefully received .
Thanks .

presumably your washer fluid is colored (blue usually)? was the fluid colored?
if you think it's meth i would definitely drain it all before driving it again, and geting the tank looked at. methanol is nasty stuff

Ah got it, missed your question about pump or tank. hard to say, probably where the pump is connected to the tank; have to dig in to that area anyway I suppose. Best of luck!

Mine did the same thing about a year ago. It was actually a bad seal on the pump. The installer, CPR, did it under warranty an took about 20 mins. Faster than an oil change. Talk to the shop that did the install as well as the customer service line of the manufacturer, they will help get this sorted out. Joe says any shop can do it with basic automotive knowledge.

He did however give me instructions what to do in regards to do , taking off the wheel first , taking off the plastic fender protector next . He then he said he will guide me from that point to see where the leak is coming from .

Jack the car up or get it on a lift by your preferred method and remove the wheel. The fender well cover is easily removed and is held on by a combination of plastic push fasteners and screws. 30 minute job not hard at all.

Not sure what kind of set up you have at home but that area behind the drivers side front tire is not hard to get too.

I think you are being modest. Regardless this is a confidence building task. You will find the process simple yet enlightening as to how simple but well put together these cars are. The exact recipe for encouragement to attempt on other task.

In for results on how this plays out. My tuner is going to install Alky Control system via the windshield reservoir setup as well. It scares me to think how close it is to the headers in that area. I don't want a meth fire. Hope you get this corrected.

The frame rail for the car separates the area the WW tank is in solidly from the internal cavity for the engine bay.
It is actually in a perfect place.
Other thing is unless you go more than 50/50 Meth/water it isn't volatile enough to burn on its own.
That's one of several reasons for not going over 50/50.

Not at all close to the headers actually.

Well finally had the time to check things out ,jacked up the car , removed the wheel and pulled back the fender liner , as someone else mentioned , the pump is easily accessible . So I put a couple of liters of water in the tank to see where the leak was coming from , low and behold it was coming from the actual pump . There are half a dozen bolts that join the two halves of the pump together and it seems to be coming from there . While I was doing this I was also on the phone with the tuner who installed the system . I told him that it looked like one of the bolts may have backed out a little . So I tried a 1/8 of a turn with an allen wrench to see what would happen . One needed a 1/4 turn . So I put a couple liters of water in the tank ,waited 20 minutes or so, all seemed good . Drained out the water , re filled with Meth , purged the system . Put everything back together and ran the car for about 15 minutes in the garage . Went back a while later to check , damn , drip on the floor again . Guess im gonna have to get a new pump

I Just returned from a military deployment. Filled the car with M1 and noticed a puddle under the wheel. Looks like I need to take it apart and do the same thing...

For those with leaks, what setup are you running (pump, tank, meth mix/brand)? Snow performance has lifetime warranty on all parts if using their boostjuice. Just something to keep in mind...

Hi , running Alky set up with whatever pump brand they use , as for Meth , just straight meth .
