Default Installed Borla 60547 X-Pipe

It is a night and day difference! If you are on the fence about doing this one, do it. I promise you will not be disappointed. The install was simple, and straightforward. My son and I knocked it out in about 2 hours with a jack and stands. The only hang-up was pulling the old pipe off (apparently it had a small leak from the factory, but was stuck tight). The difference in quality is evident, but I can’t say enough about the difference in tone. The car sounds unbelievable.

Good to hear! Mine will be here Wednesday. I am adding the Magnaflow competition exhaust at the same time. Hope it won't be too much! I kept reading the X-pipe only added about a 15% sound increase.

It’s 15% at idle. At WOT it sings!

Your right about the LEAK at the Cats-that looks bad. Bit surprised you didn't throw a code. I swapped to the X-pipe (installed myself) & few weeks later thru a code for emission control. Crawled back under & found I had been too afraid to CRANK the hell out of the bolts at connections & could see the same as your pic shows (SOOT) but at the aft connections. Hope you used new gaskets since those MIGHT have been damaged during installation thus the leak. But DAMN the Borla do sing at WOT!!! I'm a '16 Z.

I added off-road XPipe and loved the difference - just did axleback Borla ATAK and now she sounds sweeet! Also switched to Black Intercooled tips!
