C2 Frame Question

Well, yes and no....I guess. You can make it work, mechanically. But some slight differences. 63’s did not have body mount cushions, so the tabs on the frame are taller. Some e brake differences and visual differences like gussets and big block depression. Im sure quite a few 63’s have 65-66 frames under them.
It will work with a couple tweaks.

A 63 coupe was sold a few months ago by a forum member with a later frame. Many thought it was a 65 chassis but it was certainly not a 63.
To wit, yes it can be done.

2023 C1 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Here is a document describing the differences between chassis years.
As Boyan states the body mounts might have to be modified.
