Will a 66 frame fit a 63?

Well, yes and no....I guess. You can make it work, mechanically. But some slight differences. 63’s did not have body mount cushions, so the tabs on the frame are taller. Some e brake differences and visual differences like gussets and big block depression. Im sure quite a few 63’s have 65-66 frames under them.

It will work with a couple tweaks.

A 63 coupe was sold a few months ago by a forum member with a later frame. Many thought it was a 65 chassis but it was certainly not a 63.

To wit, yes it can be done.

Here is a document describing the differences between chassis years.
As Boyan states the body mounts might have to be modified.
