Default OE Black Chrome Cup Wheels

Set of brand new GM / Speedline wheels. 20x12 and 19x10 . Black Chome PVD finish. Never had tires on them or been on a car. FIts C6 widebody (Z06, ZR1, Grandsport, Centential) cars and C7 widebody cars (Z06, ZR1, Grandsport). No center caps

UPDATE: I PAID TO HAVE THE FACES POLISHED. PLEASE SEE BELOW POST FOR UPDATED PICTURES.

The ONLY issue is they have been stored for awhile and I wasnt careful with them. The back of the wheel barrel (The side you cant see) has some scratches. The face of the wheels also had some minor scratches from the cardboard box rubbing on them. The face scratches were really minor and I had professionally buffed out. Theres 1 super small spot that didnt buff out on the face (see pen picture).

Price update: $1600 FIRM, Shipped in the lower 48. Paypal friends/family or you cover fees. (PRICE UPDATE)

Speedline manufacture

GM Wheel

Stickers still on 3 of 4 wheels

Black Chrome PVD coating

Never been bolted onto a vehicle

Back side of rims from poor storage. These wont polish out

Curious what finish was originally on these wheels from GM and how,who , where did the Black Chrome......

I would consider this purchase IF you had FACE Scratches polished OUT ??????

I purchased the wheels as Black Chrome, so I don't know the original finish. Likely whatever was cheapest (Pearl nickle?). They had the black chrome applied at Winona PVD in Indiana.

The one spoke I polished I did by hand. I don't have a small enough electric buffer head to do these efficiently and doing by hand would take a lot of work I had a local paint shop quote me $50 bucks to polish them. Its just a complete hassle to transport the wheels to them as I dont have a large enough vehicle to move them all at once.

But again to be fair.... You cant see any of these marks from 4 feet or more. So unless its a show car, I think the majority of drivers would be happy as-is.

Just to be clear, no disrespect but. You can buy someone’s used perfect condition wheels and have them done in the same finish for less than what your asking. I don’t see these moving at that price. Good luck fellow vetter

Ebay exchange pricing on the PVD coating alone is $1300 for four wheels + you provide the wheels. https://www.ebay.com/itm/19-20-CORVETTE-C7-GRAND-SPORT-BLACK-CHROME-WHEELS-FACTORY-OEM-SET-5595-EXCHANGE/201986649415?fits=Model%3ACorvette&epid= 2262245179&hash=item2f0757ad47:g:enUAAOS wQb1a-bGI:rk:13:pf:0 So unless someone is giving you perfect condition wheels for next to nothing???

Id love some examples of these prices you guys are seeing. I just searched through again and found nothing. Im not taking offense, I just dont see it.

$1359 shipped was the CHEAPEST I saw any style of new OE Cup wheels. $1000 + Shipping for used OE, again any style. Thats ~$1150-1200 shipped.

The cheapest PVD coating I found online was $190/wheel. Lets assume that coater is in your area and the wheels you buy are also in your area so you dont have to pay shipping at all. Thats still $1760 for the wheels and coating assuming everything is done locally with no shipping costs. That also assumes the wheels arent bent or curbed or anything else that would increase the cost further.

Another example.... Ebay of these exact wheels outright is $2340 shipped. https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-GM-Corv...lyYR:rk:2:pf:0 Ive seen them on sale/special from forum vendors at ~ $2000 shipped in the past.

Have you considered having the scratches polished out and cleaned up? I could see more interest if that was the case, at least from me.

Transporting them to the bodyshop and back is going to be a pain, but that is my next step. Thanks for the suggestion and feedback!

I just got these back from a local bodyshop where they polished the faces. This seemed to be everyones hangup. Only back side of barrel scratches remain, and 1 hyper minor mark on the face of 1.
