Very nice. Did you just buy it or just finished the restoration? Is it a 270 HP? See the aluminum intake but can't tell if it is for two 4 barrels.

Your heads remind me of a funny story that happened to me. Are those staggered valve cover bolt heads, they may have switched them after 58? Many years ago I had an engine shop. A guy brings his 57 Chevy not Corvette engine in for restoration. He's doing a frame off show car. I build it and don't hear from him until about 5 years later. He calls and asks if I remember him I said yes. He said I was having my car judged and they hit me because you put 2 different heads on it. Notice the casting marks on the end of your heads. I told him there was no way I had swapped them because there weren't any other staggered valve cover heads in my shop and I hadn't seen any in years. So he goes and buys more heads. I removed the heads from his absolutely pristeen 57 convertible. When I get them off we notice each head has the power pack symbol on one end and the accessory pattern on the other. I said see there's no way I swapped your heads.

chopperbob1,
The only way to go, Frame off! I hope you sandblasted , taking care not to obliviate the serial numbers.
My numbers were so light that I only DA'ed them with 80 crit and applied a light coat of paint so that you could read them.
I also pho

tographed them for proof of ownership.
