Looking to buy my first Z06, good deal?
What do you guys think? There is a black 2017 z06 1 owner black on black (mint) for sale by me and I’m ready to move on it I just don’t know if it’s overpriced. Car has a 102,855 sticker, it’s a 3lz, z07 package, carbon pckage, manual, yellow calipers, yellow stitching, yellow strips full clear bra. The car has brand new tires and it has 3000 miles. They won’t move from 75k I live in the northeast and I’m wondering if I should wait till winter to get a better deal. Any direction you guys can give me I really appreciate. -Trevor

Do you think it is a good deal based off of other cars that are for sale? It doesn't matter what we think, it is your money.

Does it have the original sport cup 2 tires? Does it look like they've been tracked? If they have, you could end up with high costs replacing the tires, pads, and possibly rotors.

I agree with checking out the wheels, tires, and ceramic pads for wear.

Now is a good time to buy. 2019 are being pumped out of BG and most of the leftover 2018 are gone. So if the car meets your requirements, I would get it. In a month many Zs will be tucked away for the winter so the market won’t get any better than it is now. Just my 2c.

You trying to get them to drop from $75k?? It's a loaded Z with the Z07 and not to mention carbon fiber rockers/splitter. It's a great deal if everything checks out.
the 102k MSRP is about right if it doesn't have the carbon fiber roof and comp seats.
3k miles is nothing lol.. Good deal, jump on it.

Hi DollarBill!
Want2bem3, It's a good deal, man! You can wait until winter, but with the risk that the car has already found a new owner while waiting for your decision.
As both types above have said, you should monitor the PSC 2 and the rotors. Do like me, I have a 3LZ ZO7, buy here when the guys sell it, rims and tires mounted on it, I had here 4 PSS on OEM rims for $1800 delivered to the port of Fort Lauderdale. As for the rotors, you can find them on ebay US when the time comes. If you don't make a track, it won't wear out quickly.

It is good enough as dvilin says, but just remember part of it is because it's already a 2 model year old car, even tho very well equipped. BTW, where was it first registered---near you? In other words, is it an out of state car? Have you checked the VIS at any dealer svce. dept. to see anything about its history of repairs, recalls, tsb's, etc.? I would.

good deal. I got my 2017 new 4 months ago for $80K. you're 5k less with only 3k miles AND full clear bra. That alone is ~ $5k. Its like you're getting it for $70k. Make it happen.

Are you going to track the car? The ZO7 is more for track with the ceramic rotors, and very expensive to replace. That option also has stiffer springs, I don’t know if your aware but manual cars are harder to sell. Maybe you know all of this but you said first C7 ZO6 and just wanted you to be informed.

Car was mine. No worries with it if youre comfy with their price. I would also request the cups, that they replaced. They did this because most ppl don't understand why the tires appear as they do. The car has expel and is opti coated. Car only rec'd the best and has a track alignment which you might want to go back to stock. All extra GM parts in the box in the back of the car.
