Default CPR LT4 package goes 9.7 on stock blower

Our customer in CA just ran his C7Z that has our heads/cam/ported blower/cooling/ and bolt on package and the 9.7 is what he put down! This is on a stock trans, converter, axles tire with a 15'' non beadlock setup. DA was also 19xx and this package is so easy to drive every day with zero quirks at all.

Default More to come, stay tuned

This run was done on a non-prepped slick track. Tires spun quite a distance. Also it was a non-iced run so there’s more to be had. Stay tuned to CPR’s posts reguarding this build. Also full sizes OEM fronts, no skinnies.

Default She Does It Again

Took Ice to the track again yesterday and ran another personal best. Can anyone show evidence of a faster OEM blower (1.7) non-Nitrous C7 Z06 with a faster time?

80 degrees, DA approximately 1400

Excellent pass !. Great combo, i definitively want to to do heads and cam. I truly believe that combo is good for very low 9's in some negative DA. Looks like the track was having issues with the 1/8 mile trap measurement on your pass.

Correct, a fella told me the 1/8th mile timer was out, but to run in the right lane anyway because it was better than the left so I sacrificed the 1/8th mile time for better traction.

Your 60' times are crazy, 1.3 -1.4. I have pretty much the same set-up, heads, cam, ported blower, 103mm tb, headers/x-pipe, 15% pulley, tune, etc.
My best is a 10.2 at 139 with a 1.62 60'. I've left off idle as well on the brake to 1700 rpm, nothing changes. . . 1.6 60'. Running 18" x 5" skinnies upfront and 18" x 12" out back with MT Dr's R, not spinning.
What's your secret or what am I doing wrong.
Great job!!

there is something in the ecu that is limiting you. If you have a way to log tdd he car I bet the throttle is ramping open through most of first. Took me a while of trying different things to fix it. It will go wide open as soon as you hit the throttle when correct and then traction will be the issue.

You're having torque management step in and you are not getting 100% power from the hit. My tuner finally figured mine out and now she's an animal out of the hole! Traction is now the issue. My 60's went from a respectable 1.56-1.58 down to a 1.46 and I think there is still more there? I didn't have much time to play with it that day. I wasn't getting full power until around 32 mph. He actually asked me if I was flooring the car from the hit when he was data logging because he couldn't believe the graph.

One difference is I’m on 15” wheels vs your 18’s. Makes a big difference. I also agree with the other guys who responded to your question.

Lot of them on highway rolls. Nice run but it is all 60ft holeshot just what a fast 1/4 mile requires nice work!
But I do see only 19 mph on the back half.

I think you mean quick and not fast as one has nothing to do with other,,,The eighth MPH was obviously not working.
