Actual Elkhart Lake Blue Z06 Pictures
It looks a little darker than my Laguna Blue Z06, but still looks great! Need to see them side by side in good sunlight. Would love to see a ZR1 in that color, which I'm sure is coming soon. I'm posting a pick of the one Elkhart Lake Blue Mike Furman just got in and one of my car (Laguna Blue) to see if you can tell the difference, both in low light.

I believe that is my new Z06. Production date was WK 10/1 and Mike called yesterday to tell me it was in. It has the inlay hood. The yellow calipers and 10 blade wheels almost surely identify this as my new car.

Congrats, I like your taste in Color, Wheels and Carbon Fiber Insert hood! I'm looking to add a Hood like yours, but they are very hard to find used.

Good Choice I get an incredible amount of people coming up and complimenting me on the color of my car and the mods at car shows. I have yet to see any 10 blade wheels on Z06's here in Colorado, so you will probably experience a similar situation as they are not common. The light metallic blue is a great color for a Corvette. Glad GM brought it back!

Stunning car! Mine is also a Z06 but red calipers and the regular silver wheels....besides wheels for my A/S 3+ tires sitting in the garage waiting on the car, I have my eyes on some aftermarket wheels as well.
Enjoy it!!!!
TB427....I'm sure I've been drooling over pics of your car too, seeing that Laguna is so similar to ELBM! Beautiful!

Can’t wait until they put the carbon fiber spoiler and side skirts on. Should look pretty sweet. The color is even better than I thought it would be. I was really disappointed when they only retained Admiral Blue as only blue option. Once they introduced ELB at the museum I called Mike and put in the order. The last 60 days have been tough waiting on 10/1 to get here.

Looking forward to seeing more of your pics of your car! If mine gets done this week based on the speed of delivery of your car, mine may be in mid to late next week and my dealer is only about 45 minutes away. Lucky me I only work 3 more days this month, but the really good PPF place is kinda backed up, so might not get to drive it much for a couple of weeks till the protection goes on. Can't wait to see these cars in person!
And that's what I was afraid of Cobra2Z....I got to see Laguna and Admiral in person and the Laguna range of blue is just in the sweet spot for me. I almost jumped into an AB order when I heard it was discontinued but I'm glad I spent the time to seek out what was replacing it. AB is still a gorgeous color though and I'd have been happy with it if ELBM wasn't coming along.

Here's another low sunlight comparison between ELB and Laguna Blue. ELB still looks a little darker, though almost hard to tell the difference.

I have never had a super descerning eye of ear for that matter, on top of that I have a hard time articulating the differences I do see, but going to
give it a try: Laguna in person has never seemed dark enough for my personal taste and this new Elkhart Lake Blue (ELB) color seems to be darker and a “richer” blue color, if that makes sense, from the pics. I do really like how drastically Admiral Blue changes in light conditions and is hard to beat in bright sunlight. However, it’s a tad too dark for me in some light conditions. I don’t know how many are familiar with the old 03/04 cobras, but they had a blue called Sonic Blue and it was absolutely gorgeous and pretty much the perfect blue to me! However, this new ELB might be a new contender!

I saw your car the other day at Criswell while I was having the MSRC upgrade done to my 2016 LB M7 Z51. This car is pretty much exactly how I would have ordered it and I was almost ready to make an offer to trade not knowing that it was destined for you in OK. I wasn't sure about the yellow calipers but they are growing on me. The car looks like a ground based version of a Blue Angels F/A-18. :-) Enjoy!

Snap, Krack and Pop!!!
I would like to see those wheels in chrome on the blue. I got a feeling the chrome would add a little extra 'Eye Popping' Dazzle.

Exactly my thoughts and I've looked into it. The quote I got to chrome a set of 10 blade wheels is $850 which includes return shipping. But you have to ship a set to them so add another $200. Then add the cost of the 10 blade wheels and you have a lot of money in them.... just saying. I've decided not to chrome mine because the pearl nickel wheels look close to chrome the way they are.

Found some more actual pictures of Elkhart Lake Blue in the sunlight. Now these look very close to Laguna Blue in sunlight, but definitely darker.

That looks more like Admiral Blue to me instead of Elkhart Lake Blue....the AB can look like that in photographs. May I ask where you found them so we can confirm the color? Looks a bit too dark to be ELB to me based on earlier pics--it should pop a brighter blue in sunlight instead of looking darker. On another note...my car got built Thursday! Just waiting on delivery and I'll have some pics of my Elkhart Lake Blue. Getting PPF before I do any real driving though, so pictures off the lot won't be coming until after that's done.
