Default Custom Aluminum Hood Latch

Just finished fabricating the hood latch brackets for the ‘63 twin turbo split project. We are using quick latch hood pin/latches so we decided to fabricate our own brackets, much cleaner than the stock setup. When the car gets back from Upholstry next week we will get them fit and installed.

Here are a few pics, also a pic of the project car...

Thank you! We like doing things a little different, should have them installed in a couple weeks, the cars coming back from upholstery next week.

Different doesn't always translate to better. You have shown us in your case it does. That's some good looking fabrication. Please keep the pictures and updates on your projects coming.

Thanks, there will be plenty more pics coming in the next few weeks as we button up the cars for Barrett-Jackson.
