I bought a 2009 last year and it has Chrome Z06 aftermarket wheels on it. The wheels are in excellent shape but there is a small nick on one in the rear. It is a small one and I believe that it was caused during tire installation. I only noticed it when polishing the wheel. The car is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sports ZP and they were installed by the previous owner 5 years ago. The car only has 33,000 miles on it so I assume that the tires have around 5k on them?
I am looking for Original 5 spoke Chrome wheels. I am in the Nashville area and I have found a few wheels here but they were not in good shape.
The chrome was peeling off of one of the wheels that I looked at. Is this a common problem? If so I may have to reconsider Chrome.
If there are no trade opportunities, I would consider just buying a set of wheels. I believe that the option number I am looking for is Q9V?

C7? What do you mean "never installed"? What size are they? I know that Grand Sport wheels will not work and that newer ie; C7 TPS will not work on the C6 non GS model.
All that being said, if they are the right size, how much are you asking for them? I am in Tennessee so they would have to be shipped. Sans tires, the shipping is not too bad I am told.
I put this post up in the hope that I could do a trade with someone near Nashville Tennessee that wanted ZR1 style wheels but at the right price, I would buy the wheels from someone then post my wheels for sale.

I have an 08 base conv. with the original 5 spoke chrome wheels 18" and 19". They are in good condition but not perfect. They came off at 62k miles. I am in Atlanta. No tires or sensors. Ready to ship in boxes. I will trade or sell for $500 plus shipping.
When you get ready to sell the old wheel and tire combo please let me know. If your old ones are the ZR1 style rims on the red C6 pictures then I’m very interested. Thank you.
They are as you see them 2 months ago. They look the same now! I will contact you when my new rims get here. I am selling rims only, I am having the tires mounted on the new rims. I will PM you when I have them available.
