Default Any procrastinators out there ?

Had this coupe frame, suspension, drive train, painted since 1984. Other cars done and sold . This one remains on the back burner for some reason. Too much C-1 tunnel vision blamed.

My 1975 911 widebody Hotrod (1995 3.6L engine with PMO carbs, Gaurd LSD, coilovers all around, blah, blah, blah), has been sitting in this position for several years as I have worked on other projects. I’m going to get to it this week...

I'm almost finished with my 67 coupe. Just need to finish putting in the power widow motors and the headliner. That was 5 years ago, LOL!

"I will build no car before its time". My '37 Ford pickup, which i bought as a basket case in March 1990, sat until exactly 20 years later, in April 2010, when i decided it was time. 24 months later, it was complete.

I've got one of these C1. Originally started out as a repaint, that turned into a frame off restoration, and they took so long changed plan to mild street / strip hot rod, nostalgia type, and have put several cars done and sold ahead of it. The only thing I can think of, is I will never sell it, so it keeps getting pushed back on the back burner till it is pushed clean off of the stove. Talk about project creep to the max. This car is KING of project creep!

"Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow."

One of these days I am going to stop procrastinating, Maybe tomorrow.
On second thought, I already have too many things to do tomorrow from last week.

I'm the opposite....a 'get'r'done' guy. As a result, I'm out driving my classic cars, which are never close to perfect. Reliable, yes, but perfect cosmetics, no. I have several friends who have not driven their classic cars in 20-30 years, while I've been driving all of mine (and repairing them as needed). Several other friends of mine have died, having never finished, or driven, their classic. At 57, I don't consider myself middle aged....not a lot of 114 year- old's out there! The time to get that project done and enjoy it is NOW. Don't get paralysis by analysis....they run just fine with the screw slots not lined up.

I only wish I had come to this realization earlier. I have taken this route on my C2!

First picture is 5-6 years ago. Second picture is current. Looks like I ran out of steam?

One of my good friends who unfortunately passed away had no less than 10 cars and would literally work a little bit on each car every day. It drove me crazy!

The 64-65 Novas are so classy.. The V-8 additions really woke them up. My friend placed a 327, 4 speed in a 63 . Local ice racing champ for years.

10 is a lucky number.. 7 old vettes, two GTOs, and a post Belair. Throw in a YJ Jeep and a Chevrolet truck and one has an even dozen. ( and a full garage )
