!967 Corvette Tri power L68 - C60
Hello,
I am looking at a 1967 Corvette L68 -C60 coupe
It still has the original Tri power set up
it has factory A/C matching #s
Original engine , trans etc.,
Ps, pb, pw, shoulder harness, side pipes
Need brakes fuel system flush etc
Rolls and engine turns over. setting since 1987
Engine rebuilt by Carl Holbrook in1984
Needs Paint and some minor body work ...
What could I pay without fear of losing my rear.
I would deeply appreciate any info on what the car may be worth.
Kind Regards

What’s is the color combo per trim tag and does it have any factory docs. Those two will help or hurt the value

I say a car like that not running should be around 75-90k depending on the condition of everything. When running and all the little details corrected I would say around 150k

We were thinking somewhere between $70K to 80K so it sounds like a decent price we were pretty close to your estimate.
Thanks very much I don't know much about the value of the Big block Corvettes, & just a little about C2 drivers.
I think you have helped me out, Corvette forum guys always do I love the site and every one on it is Great !

Yes I am aware of the frame and it's possible issue's especially the end caps and kick ups and it is good on the car.
I am not sure of what signs to look for regarding the bird cage.
Thanks for the reply

unless the car sat out side since new in a damp area and never driven bird cage rot is not a problem.

then look for rodent damage. the last 67 I helped restored sat out side for most of its life and had a perfect frame and bird cage expect it sat around between resto shops for the least 25 years and rats had made a nest in the body mount behind the door and there urine rusted out the birdcage at that spot.

Maybe one of the guys who inspects cars here is not far away. Doesn’t hurt to have an extra set of eyes.
