Tire sizes
I know nothing about this but how well will 275 40 18s and 245 45 17s fit on 18/19 c6 z06 wheels?

I guess you could put the 18" tires on the 18" wheels...
You're not even close. You need matching wheel sizes (diameter and width) for the tires.

not very good at all.
tires made for 17s won't physically fit on an 18" wheel; same for tires made for 18s and 19" wheels.

you can get replica C6 Z wheels in C5 sizes, if you're looking to only change the wheels.

Thanks for the information what tires sizes do you recommend for the 18/19 set?

This cannot be answered without knowing the wheel widths as well.
Edit: Oops, I re-read your first post and see you're talking about C6 Z06 rims.
Stock Z06 Wheel/tire sizes
2006+ Z06
Front:
Wheel size: 18 x 9.5
Offset: +40mm
Tire Size: 275/35/18
Back Spacing: 6.82” (173.35mm)
Rear:
Wheel size: 19 x 12
Offset: +59mm
Tire Size: 325/30/19
Back Spacing: 8.82” (224.09mm)
So to fit a C5 it looks like Striper got it right.
