Default Any LS3 conversion kits out there?

Pondering putting an LS3 in my 69 or 71

Are there any conversion kits available to do that
or vendors that have the stuff to do it?

I see older threads of LS conversions here but a lot of custom fabricating going on

Thanks

There is no complete kit out there for doing this. However more and more as the years go by is available for conversions. Headers, engine mounts radiators, wiring harnesses and much more is out there. Very easily done now and lots of help is here on the forum. I did mine about 6 years ago when not much was out there.

Thanks Gordonm
I loved your build thread.
Anyone have suggestions on where to start as far as quality mounts and crossmembers?

Glenn

Google search. You wouldn't believe how well documented this swap is. There is a GIGANTIC thread on this forum (should be listed in the stickys) of all the C3 owners who have done the swap and they list what engine mounts, transmissions, adapters, wiring, etc... they use. No need to start a new thread when all the questions have been answered. Once you read through the basic LS swap stuff (there is an awesome writeup on LS1 tech forum as well) start a thread with any SPECIFIC questions you may have.

the GIGANTIC thread is very good, but lacks alittle detailed info about certain areas. people have listed what parts they have used, but not so much detail concerning exact fitment of said parts

here's my recent posts concerning engine mounts, with pics and more detailled info, if you need more info, please ask

If you skip to the end of my build thread, currently I just finished install FAST EFI on my 350! Still considering LS someday, but more because I would like to run a turbo setup and that works REALLY well with the LS.

Not sure if I'm allowed to link this here, so if I am not Mods let me know and I'll delete: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...de-1500-a.html This is super useful for putting together an LS swap on a budget.
