Default 220MPH electric Corvette - the GXE

https://genovationcars.com/

The GXE all-electric power train was designed for maximum performance. The process began with an acknowledgement that no single motor could provide the torque, power and RPM we needed. Several twin motor approaches were analyzed with the best choice being two motors on a single shaft; a dual-stack. Next step was to find a pair of commercially available inverters that could power the dual-stack to maximum torque at an RPM the Corvette’s transmission components could handle. Finally, we designed a battery pack capable of providing voltage and current to meet the 250kW of power to each inverter simultaneously.

How about tone it down a bit so you don't have to charge a million dollars a copy, and sell it as the Lectric Vette.

I think there is a huge number of current vette owners that don't come anywhere near driving this kind of mileage on a regular basis.

I was told by a Corvette salesman that GM has already copyrighted "E-Vette" for future use.

But for 125K I could have a P100D

So i you want maximum performance for 125K you buy a ZR1
If you want a super fast electric car with 315 mile range you buy a P100D
If you want to brag about your million dollar Chevy, you buy one of these.

Don't be too judgmental about the round tail lights. They are on a C6 the company built sometime earlier. It will only go 209 mph. There's several videos of it on the site.

That's all well and good but is this going to be the Vette that really can't be driven in the rain????

The current ones smell like fish if you drive them in the rain. What will this one smell like?

Ultimate performance in my mind requires the ability to run at least 30 min on a track. For a million dollars after tax and reg, I sure want more than a C7 that’s ruined for anything but short freeeway and drag strip races. My GS will destroy this million dollar car any of my local tracks. I guess people will buy anything in short supply if it costs enough. I can’t wrap my head around a C7 for a million cause we added round tail lights and electric motors.

That's a good point for any car and why multi-hundred mile ranges are really not all that necessary. I know a guy who has an XLR, for example, which has a range of well less than 100 miles, yet he has not put gas in the car in a year. It actually forced him to burn a tank of fuel to get the old stuff out. The only time "range anxiety" is real is on a road trip. And if you could get 250 miles out of a charge, which Tesla already can do, all you need is a single charge at lunch to be enough for any but the most hard core drivers.
