Default BC Forged wheels (18") Stingray/Z51 fitment

I sold my car, so these need to go.

Here's a set of BC Forged wheels (Same manufacturer that also manufactures Signature wheels) 18x10.5 ET51 Front, 18x11 ET79 rear with Knurled bead option to avoid slipping of tires on the wheels. This is the same (mother) company that also manufactures Signature wheels. They are only ~20-21 lbs, and are the strongest design BC Forged has. Asking only $2250 + SHIPPING!

(The price does not include tires or TPMS.)

Based on your previous posts, won't these rub without coilovers, stiff springs, and thicker sways?

With 315/345 Hoosier R7s at track use, they sure will. I went all the way back when I tested out, but now I recommend first going with stiffer sway bars, which has provided enough support for even the stickiest tires for most.

For smaller/less traction tires, or for street use, they usually don't rub (again dependent on your setup, and if you've lowered your car a lot).

should be able to get away with 295/315 hoosiers with minimal rubbing on a narrow body.

You may rub on full compression on the wheel liner.

Had I not been spending money like water lately I would be all over these. Just a little to spendy at the moment for me GLWS!

How much camber did you run with these? Concerned around rubbing

It all depends on your setup.
  • If you use 275/305, it should work with whatever suspension setup that also works with OEM tires.
  • As lobsterroboto stated, 295/315 is also a great combo with these cars, and you can run it with no issues at the street, with little to no rubbing at the track.
  • 315/345 pushes the boundaries. After all, it is putting tires as wide as what Z06s can take! With that, you'd need stiffer sway bars, and possibly even trimming the inner lip of the rear fenders for clearance (more info here).
Needless to say, these sizes are the best you can do for these cars for best handling possible.

Agreed, id probably be looking at a 275//315 combo for tire options available and keeping stock size tires (height). Would be exclusively for track so kinda surprised there is potential for rub at a 315.
Currently running -2 in the rear and wanting to keep the stock MRC. From the thread you linked it looks like im SOL on an 18x11

Don't worry about 315s; it should normally not rub, but if you put in race slicks like what lobsterroboto does, then yeah, you start having rubbing issues with stock (soft) suspension at the track as it now leans more : )

295/315 would likely still be OK with occasional rubbing. Anything bigger would likely require mods to accommodate. Anyway, that's part of the adventure : p

Sounds like a good set of wheels for someone going all in. I have MR and dont really want to swap out for coilovers. Good luck with the sale.

Not trying to go off course, how is the grip/transitions on the track with the Z06 vs your previously prepped Z51?

You can determine how much hard core you'd want to be. For street use only, just shod it with 275/305. You want the best you can do? Then shod the fronts with 315 but prepare for more body roll : )

I've not yet tried the Z06 at any track. I've been talking to track day organizers re: their winter days, and I'm hoping to find an event in the next few weeks!

Price reduced! I intend to keep the price at this level for a while (since it's winter).
