Default What did you get in the mail (for your C7) today?

Sorta like the "what did you do to your C7 today" thread.

1) After a a couple recent threads, I thought it would be cheap insurance to dump some fuel system cleaner at every OCI. Techron was cheaper (case of 6), but also bought a bottle of the ACDelco stuff. I won't notice the difference. Either way, gotta love internet hysteria. *rolleyes
'

2) Received my new wheels last week, but plan to coat them before mounting them. Should make cleaning brake dust easier.

3) Can anyone guess what this is?

Nice, what app do you plan to use that with? iOS or Android?

ACS splash guards for the front.....of course my car was built last Thursday, now has 28 miles on it and is still at the plant....so I can set these behind the A/S 3+ tires in my garage and pretend.... :-) Of course today just after they arrive ACS shows off their new and improved XL versions for about twice the price...

The new ACS front XLs are only $50 more with all things equal. The enhanced front splash guards are offered in different finishes, but the XL versions are only offered (as of the time of this posting) in Carbon Flash.

XL in Carbon Flash - $279
Enhanced in Carbon Flash - $229

I just finished a coating of CQuartz and GLISS this week. I used DLUX on the wheels and calipers. The results all come down to preparation. Compounding out all the paint imperfections is the real job. I probably put 30 hours into the whole job.

If you use a top tier fuel, you're wasting your money on additives.

This is scheduled for delivery on Monday, 10/22
I was able to design the shirt on that companies website and use my own picture.

Hey Bud, I get it here --> https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mobil-1-ESP...t/263950455663

Usually $89 obo, I offer a little less and have used eBay coupons when they are available for 10-20% off. Either way, this is for a 12 pack (not 6). I've bought from this seller a few times and it's been all good so far.

THANKS

Yeah, I got mine in the textured black so the difference is quite a bit more....about $80. I figured since I might want to also paint the poverty splitter and spats until I go stage 2 front that I can do that cheaper than paying for them painted up front....or I could sell these are some point and buy all the ACS XLs or the APSIS full front spat/splash guard in carbon flash....who knows.. :-)
