Better to get x-pipe or whole exhaust system?
Do you guys think it’s better to get the whole corsa extreme system or just the double x pipe? Which would be louder and sound better? Thanks in advance

Really depends on what you want. I have the Corsa X pipe and it sounds great but I wanted more. I added a Magna Flow Comp Exhaust system with it and now it's nuts. I love it.
PS: pull fuse #23.

Sound for the sake of sound is a dead end. If you want sound and power the get a set of long tubes. I have kooks and high flow cats. It’s nasty sounding and and when the exhaust closes at cruising in 6 or7 th gear it’s quite as a church mouse. I also have a 2300, AFE, x tank 5% lower and tuned. Send the money you won’t be sorry. My 2 cents

It really depends on what you want out of the car. I went with the Borla X-pipe only to maintain the NPP and perhaps add a slight HP bump paired with he GM Jake CAI. It gives me a deeper exhaust bark than stock, especially in Sport mode. I do like the full Corsa Xtreme kit, but you will lose the NPP and you will control the volume by the throttle only. The black chrome tips option on the Corsa Xtreme kit is enough for me to consider it, but not right now.

Do the xpipe and keep the factory npp exhaust. Its plenty loud.
or if you want that "raw" sound. Get the xpipe and long tubes. Then you'll actually pick up power. And more power if you tune the car.
spending the money for what most axlebacks go for is actually a waste of money. Unless you want to change the look of the exhaust tips.

I had my z stock, then borla xpipe then long tubes headers n catless xpipe. To me, sweet spot was with xpipe only. Headers made the car just too loud imo! all of it through stock Npp. my next Z, ill try the corsa xpipe this time!

Try this first then if it isnt enough go for the axle back.https://www.edgyvette.com/product/ed...s-steel-xpipe/
I love the way this Xpipe sounds with NPP exhaust. IMO it was the best my car ever sounded

I did the Borla, catless X-pipe and it sounds great, but only at WOT. Virtually sounds stock when just cruising and I keep the valves open all the time and pulled the fuse. I just like loud even at cruise. If I had it to do over, I would have gone with B&B Bullets. This car is going when the mid engine comes, so I'm done with the mods.

Took the advice of a fellow CF member(Plstxmd) and bought the a 3" Stainless Steel X-pipe from a company called LINESRACING on Amazon. He sent me clips of how his Z06 sounded after the install and it blew away all the clips I'd heard of the Borla and Corsa pipes so I decided to take a chance on it. This is the clip of when my car got fired up for the first time after installing that x-pipe...clearly my mechanic and I were both pretty happy. Be sure to turn your speakers up LOUD and trust me, the audio recorded from my phone doesn't even begin to convey what it sounds like in person. After that first rev it was like getting hit by a shotgun blast! One of the salesmen came out from the showroom and said he heard it all the way in the other building.

I haven't pulled the fuse on mine yet because i do like switching from stealth to track every now and then. I would imagine the only difference between pulling the fuse and not is the sound difference on deceleration.

Also, I forgot to mention the x-pipe from Amazon was only $229 so about half the price of the Borla or Corsa pipes and it's full 304 Stainless Steel with perfect fitment and amazing sound. Best mod I've done for my Z yet.
