C8 Testing at Road Atlanta today
The ME C8's are testing at Road Atlanta today . ( and yesterday)
No I do not have any details , a friend just called and said he saw the camouflaged cars lapping RA with some C7 ZR-1s.
Anyone close , grab your telephoto lens and get some pics through the fence....or maybe some audio at least.

They did the press roll out/intro's for the C7 Z06 under wraps at Road Atlanta after the 2014 IMSA race so I thought they might be doing similar for the C8 if they plan to introduce it at 2019 Jan Auto Show (Detroit? North America?)

I guess it could be a press event. 2-3 months would be just about right for the lead time associated with print magazines that would be on the shelf in Jan.
If it is a press event, then the next question becomes which blogger will risk GMs wrath by 'accidentally' letting their website go live ahead of the embargo date.

It would be very interesting to learn how the C8's are pacing with the C7 ZR-1s!

Doesn't surprise me. A couple of the Corvette Racing drivers stayed at Road Atlanta for more tire testing with Michelin. This also happened when the C8R was spotted last. No doubt they're doing a little bit of testing with the C8Rs at Road Atlanta.

Haha yeah I follow Oliver Gavin (Corvette Racing driver) on facebook and he was not happy that the tire testing was the morning right after the annual IMSA banquet!
