Default What

I am putting a 71 Vette coupe back together and have lost a part. The only place I can get a picrture, but no ID, is in my paragon catalog. In the catalog ,V40 issue, there is a section that is highlited in blue that says 1969-72 removable rear window and off to the right of that is a blue arrow. At the point of the arrow is a slender with 4 holes in it. That is the part I am missing. Please help me find a left and right. Thank you, Russell

I must be looking at the wrong piece, the one I see in the cat should be riveted to the car. Was yours removed?

I also suggest you look in your catalog and buy a book called the Assembly Instruction Manual or AIM as it's refered to. Invaluable information on how our cars were assembled at the factory.
Sorry I can't help with the removable rear window. I have a convertible

The parts you are looking for are p/n 3972307 & 8. My AIM calls them Rear Upper Roof Moldings. I did a search and found a used pair that sold on fleabay in September for under $20 shipped. Perhaps a member has a set he/she would sell, so you may want to post in the WTB section. Apparently they are the same parts installed on '68 to '74.
Good luck.

I believe and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the 1968-1969 moldings were made out of stainless steel and the 70-72 moldings were pot metal. If you don't find a set, I may have some here. Service@Willcoxcorvette.com
