Default YSI or Ti

I want to make 800 to the wheels which blower should I go with, ysi or ti trim. I have 95lbs injectors, meth and long tube headers. I don't really care to have 1000hp as o could never put it to the ground on street tires. I would be happy with 700rwhp but really prefer 800. Ca the ti trim support 800

I’m making 837whp with a Ti trim on 93 + meth on my 07Z. If your goal is only 800, the Ti trim is your better option.

Hey thanks for the response, I don't have a ZO6 I have the grand sport. I have forged my internals, added meth and long tube headers 1 7/8'. I've sold my Si and was seriously looking at the Ti. The YSi sounds sexy but I would have to re-pull my pistons to gap them for 1000+ more than likely purchase a new intake 102mm fast, change out my 95lbs injectors, additional pulley system etc. the list goes on and on. 1000+ sounds sexy but on the street it's a death trap. I'm completely fine with 800rwhp to the wheels, it helps me out on the drag strip with catchup speed from mistakes I make on the launch. If the Ti gets me there at the top of the run that is cool with me. That will easily make it a 10sec car. I was running low 11's on stock tires with the Si and sometimes that was with mistakes. So the Ti should get me to the 800rwhp and 10s on the quarter mile. If I can do that then it's a win win for me.

I would go with the A&A secondary drive with 8 rib to avoid belt slip because you'll be spinning it pretty hard. I would also stick with the stock intake because they're more durable under boost. You should have no problem making 800whp.

Hi, just a thought here. Buy the bigger supercharger and pulley it down to reach your 800hp goal. Once you’re tired of the 800 and are ready for the 1,000, you won’t have to upgrade your supercharger. No experience with this on a Vette but PLENTY on a Mustang. I know it seems hard to imagine but for most people that take it all the way to 800hp, soon it won’t be “as much” fun anymore and you’ll want more.

Ti kit. Although i'm not really sure if you're going to be able to hook 800rwhp on the street. I have the a&a ti kit with long tubes making 560rwhp (MD) and if the temp is under 50 it will not hook with Toyo R888R tires.

Under 50 deg is not ideal for high hp cars. 800whp can be hooked up on the street in good weather with careful modulation of the throttle and good drag radials.

Ti will make 800 with ease and be more efficient doing so. You may be able to get away with stock 6 rib too.

To all thanks for the advise. The Ti just makes too much since. I just don't see me ever needing that much power on a street car. There is just too much I have to change to make it work. My engine is now built and I just want to put it in then enjoy it. 800rwhp, 10 second car is all I want. There are plenty of Ti systems doing this. It's just the smart answer + I can keep my current setup.

800whp will be easy 9’s with a good launch inrun 10.6-10.7now with just full bolt ons, heads cam mamo port msd full exhaust and e85 so if i add a ti to my forged engine and set it to 750wjp that would be 9.9 easy 800-850 should be 9.5-9.6
