Default OT: My book is a #1 Best Seller on Amazon!

Saw my memoir go to #1 Best Seller status on Amazon today. What a feeling! Spent hours emailing and posting the news everywhere I could think of, including here! Also getting lots of good reviews on Goodreads.com. This is my first book, so winning an INDIE award earlier this year and now reaching this Amazon sales rank makes me one happy author! This will probably last just a few days, but it's definitely a Bucket List item for me.

It’s a great look into your fascinating life to this point, as if you weren’t nice enough on the CF. I treasure my copy and I’m glad we’re friends.

Lots of guys here have undoubtedly had interesting lives. But, man, writing for the public was shockingly difficult, even though I've written scientific articles my whole life. I learned a lot about myself while wrestling with the language to put my life down in words. It makes me feel good that you appreciated my efforts. Thanks, Dennis!

Know what you mean. I've read biographies and memoirs and wished I'd been that person. Now for the first and only time I get to write like "that person"!
