C7 Key Fob Problem
One of my 2015 Key Fobs seemed to stop working. I put in another new battery and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?? The other key fob works just fine.
Thanks in advance.

Check the new battery. It needs to read about 3.3 volts new. At 3 volts they begin to fail. New batteries have been know to be faulty. I know this by first hand experience when 500 miles away from home. It took hours of precious time and several batteries to save this road trip.

What stopped working? New batteries can suck. If the battery has a crosshatch pattern on it, it won't work. What doesn't work? Can you open the door? Can you put the FOB in the slot and start the car? ???????
FOB not detected message? What???

Random things happen, and your car wouldn't be the first one to have settings change out of the blue.

Very likely your keyfob is damaged internally.
what you are describing is exactly what i went through when my keyfob got damaged. New batteries did not work however if inserted into the slot it will start.
if you are under warranty, they will order and replace your key for free.

I guess I would want to know how many times did you use this fob and did you stick the fob in the steering column a few times and then try it without that procedure !!!
