Would no think there would be too many in yellow with the air cleaner sticking up like that.

It is likely already on a ship headed to Europe or Asia. But, I will keep fingers crossed for you that it will be found intact somewhere in the US.

Punisher

I saw this yesterday and was actually going to post it. Thanks for posting.
Feel bad for the guy. He tried and parked the trailer in front of a tree and the crooks cut the tree down. My wife wants to go down to the city and I’m like our Vette would be gone in no time.
I keep a Tile tracker(gps) in it now so I know it’s location.

Keep one of these hidden in the car

so sad you cannot have anything nice.

Well there is not a lot of crime in mchenry. So when i read stories like this I always believe it wasn't random. That somebody told somebody about it. How else would anyone know what was in the trailer.

The back of a yellow C3 at the end of a dead end street caught my eye today. Had to back up and drive over to see if it had that air cleaner. Unfortunately not the stolen one.
Definitely keeping an eye out for it.

Default Update

vette was found in a field stripped of parts then set on fire. Sad to hear. Hopefully she was well insured.

These aren't actually GPS trackers - they use bluetooth, so it will only report location if somebody nearby has the app on their phone, with bluetooth enabled. Have you tried giving the device to somebody to carry around for a day (providing they did not have the app on their phone) to see how often it actually gives an accurate location?

Never had a problem with not knowing where something is, my FIL leaves his keys and phone all over Gods creation and I always find them. I would say it’s good to about a radius of 15’.
Unfortunately if that 74 had one we would find its location for sure.

Really? The odds of someone being within 15' of a stolen car and having that app on their phone is that good?

It is a tracker so it works good. I can go on the app and bam there is the ping and I can find it. I have a tracker in his phone case and once my FIL left it In the Polaris that was loaded on a trailer. He called via my BIL’s phone and said I think I left my phone in Tucson. I went to the app and it showed it was with him. They pulled over and I was able to double tap the app button which will allow the phone to ping even if the phone is on silent. From the back of the Ford crew cab to the trailer is about 15’ and they found it.
My wife’s keys or whatever, I always find the stuff.

Sad to hear, stolen, stripped of parts is bad enough.
