Default Took (97 year old) grandma for a ride in the Z06...

...and she loved it.

After some local cruising I got to an open road, floored it in first, spun wheels, shifted to second, floored it again, it hooked up, and let's just say I may have gone slightly over the speed limit a few seconds later. She was grinning almost as much as I was afterwards

I hope I make it to 97, and if I do, I hope I am in as good of shape (and as cool) as my grandma!

I thought you all may get a kick out of this! Cheers!

Good sport. Age is not the end of good humor. My 83 yr old wife's daily driver is a Blade Silver/Adrenaline Red/Black C7 with HRE's. The Little Ol' Lady from Pasadena is bad fast too.

She's obviously a very special person. Did you offer to let her drive?

I had hoped to take my 87 year old Mother for a ride in my first Corvette but she died unexpectedly 2 weeks before I took delivery. Kudos to you and your lady friend. Stay safe.

Awesome story

I took my 91 year old grandfather out for a drive in my Z06 several years ago. A great memory.

She can't drive a manual, so I didn't want to upset her by offering... (she does drive her car every day though around her neighborhood!)

Back in 1979, the last time I saw my Grandfather was on his 90th birthday.

Took him for a ride in my brand new Corvette.

He had a big grin.

I have cherished that memory ever since.

Hope somebody takes me for a Corvette ride if I am lucky enough to get to 90!!

Your'e a good man! Old grandma's love Corvettes, especially when you really get on it. Just ask my wife. Woops! I hope she doesn't read this.
