Default Ran a new personal best 8.83 @ 164

Ran a new best at SCTO in Phoenix this past weekend. Second pass would have been better but I blew the charge pipe and it cost me the race and another personal best.

Congrats, Albert. Always enjoy seeing your car on the track. Looks like the 2nd pass would have been an 8.6x? Are you launching off a foot brake or trans brake?

Thanks. The way the car was back halfing I think it may have been a high 8.5 in the high 160s. I foot brake it, car went .67 lamda off the hit which killed the 60'. That has been corrected. I'm pretty happy the way the new 388 ran especially in not so great DA.

Nice, looked like you were about to run the other car down until the charge pipe came loose. Blower to intercooler or intercooler to throttle body? I hate it when that happens.

That’s rolln for sure. I’m afraid to turn my car up in an attempt to get that fast. My torque tube and differential scare me being factory.

Congrats Albert! That’s flying! Imagine what’ll happen once you get that 60’ dialed in.

Love the color now too.

With that MPH I have no doubt you will! Just have to get to the track on a good day.

My time slip is with the TTI X kit about a year or so ago. According to Jeremy @ RPM the quickest ET for the 4L60 is 8.44 (not sure about the mph)

Sounds like a race car! Big difference from your car and mine (although mine is currently in pieces )

Their going to have to pry the A/C from my cold dead fingers!

I haven't heard of anyone actually blowing up a RPM 4L60, according to Jeremy they'll just start slipping and maybe lose a gear. But guess who was the first and only ever to break their hardened input shaft?

Most likely a factory defect but there was nothing left to inspect!

Jeremy is the man! Always points me in the right direction and tries to save me $ as well.

I'm probably going to see how far I can push their 4L60 next year. I dont really have the budget for a glide/9" setup

It's a Precision 10.5" triple disk with lock up, 3000 - 3400 stall. Jeremy had it custom made. If I remember correctly that run was without the converter locked in high gear.

What converter are you running albert?

I just got my PI triple disc back, stalled at 3800. Curious about locking it and at what point on the track. I am sure I will have to experiment.

Hell, I gotta get my car back together. Im picking up my motor and re freshened level X from Bret today hopefully.
