Need a NOS GM Cam shaft Part # 3904362 for a solid lifter engine
for a 69 427
Took the engine out to rebuilder and he says I need a new cam

Found duration but the Correct cam I need is for a 69 which is part number 3904362

In the Alan Colvin books - Chevrolet by the numbers (both 65-69 and 70-75 books) - he shows the 143 and 362 cams to have identical specs. Lift with 1.70 rocker ratio is .520 and .520; duration shows to be Intake - 316 degrees and Exhaust - 302 degrees. If there is a difference, I have not found it yet. Troy
