I ordered one with my ZR1 and due to a pricing error in GM's system, overpaid by $1000.... It is pretty nice to have in the Fall-Winter-Spring though. Summer in Houston is WAY too hot and you roast under that thing.
My ZO6 has both but the glass top has only been used 2 times as for me it generated too much heat. Also I do not put hardly any miles on my Corvette's in the winter as they stay on the charger under their covers.
I had a salesman talk me out of getting the glass top when I ordered my ZO6 in Pensacola Fl. He said the air conditioning can't keep up with the heat load. I ordered my ZR1 without it too. TPW of 12-17-2018.

I had the glass top on my Z the entire time I was in Florida as did a Friend who drove his car in the 100 degree heat no A/C problems. Gives the car a different look and feel.
Glass top option
Wanted only the glass top as I have had in my past coupes - makes the cabin feel larger. Could not order glass top alone so I have the carbon fiber top stored in the accessory bag by GM.
Does the optional clear top has the edges painted body color like the carbon fiber top? Hard to tell on the black car. The red car had a 'borrowed' clear top from another car that could've been black also. Do all clear tops have the blueish tint or can you specify the bronze color of yesterdays?

No, but my wrap shop matched the orange perfect, they did my silver Z06/Z07 as well. Bluish tint, I remember the days of different top tints, you must be old like me

I put the glass top on when I got the car, 6 months later I took it off and it's in the storage bag, the look of the carbon fiber roof won out, so it's carbon or topless
