Default Renee gets first Vette and a Bakers dozen delivery pics/stories~Mike Furman@Criswell*

Delivery thread 11/11/18...Thank a Veteran today.
~I was traveling last Sunday and couldn't do my weekly Sunday morning delivery post but I will make up for it with this week as I share a Bakers dozen deliveries.

~My Corvette Furman ZR1 Driving Experience is all booked, within 12 hours the class filled up with my ZR1 customers. March 9th-13th I will be out at Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Race Track
in Pahrump, Nevada. ~*I've been to Spring Mountain so much...that the picture below is exactly how my view is now...

~Bob D. of Deerfield Beach, Florida has followed me for years on the Internet so when it came time factory order his own special Corvette he reached out to me. Bob ordered a Long Beach Red 2019 Grand Sport Cpe with Kalahari interior and we completed the Fed Ex payment process Friday and today Plycar Trucking will load it up for the 1,000 mile trip down to Bob’s driveway. Equipment list includes: CF badge Pkg, Red calipers, Auto transmission, Black Wheels, 2LT Pkg and much more!

~Deane C. of Bend, Oregon was referred to me so he checked out my inventory on my corvette dedicated web site www.corvettefurman.com
Deane found a Watkins Glen Gray 2019 Z06 Convertible and snatched it up this week over the phone. We completed the Fed Ex pkgs back and forth Friday and Plycar Trucking picked up his new Corvette yesterday morning and it’s headed the 2,800 miles West to his home in Oregon. Equipment list includes: CF painted Ground effects Pkg, CF Instrument panel, Auto transmission, Navigation/PDR, 2LZ Pkg with Black interior and Black top.
I sent Deane these pics yesterday and here is his response...
"OH BABY!! That's a beautiful car. Thanks for making this the most enjoyable vehicle purchase experience I've ever had (and I've had a few)." Deane C. Bend, Oregon

~Mike W. Of Baldwin Park, California called me last week as he had seen this 3,800 mile used 2019 Corvette Stingray Convt on my Corvette dedicated website www.corvettefurman.com
Mike’s slightly used Corvette Convt is Arctic White with Black top and Adrenaline Red interior and is equipped with: Auto transmission, CF badge Pkg, Red calipers, Performance exhaust, Black Wheels and 1LT Pkg.
Plycar Trucking picked it up yesterday to enclose ship it the 3,000 miles to Mike’s driveway for some California top down driving!

~Mark H. of Linkwood, Maryland was referred to me by another Corvette customer and decided to walk my inventory in person before deciding on his very first Corvette.
Mark chose a 2019 Corvette Grand Sport Convt in Watkins Gray Metallic with Gray top and Gray Interior. Equipment list includes: Machine Faced Wheels, Carbon fiber Instrument panel,
Auto transmission, Navigation/PDR and 2LT Pkg.

~Mark B. Of Lake Park, Florida found me thru the Internet and after calling around chose to place his Factory order with me for a 2019 Corvette Z06 Convt. Mark ordered his Z06 in Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic with Gray interior and Spice Red top. This is a must see in person Combo! Option list: Competition Seats, Shark Gray stinger hood stripes, Shark Gray vents, 7 spd manual transmission, 2LZ Pkg and Red seat belts. I gave Mark a sight unseen trade value 7 weeks ago for his 69,000 mile 2016 Corvette. Monday he started his 1,000 mile trip North from his home in Florida and arrived here Tuesday a few hours earlier then planned. I had him turned around and headed South within the hour.

~David and Jill S. of Henderson, Nevada called me 12 weeks ago with a special request. They wanted to take Corvette Museum Delivery on November 5th...which is a special day for their family. So before I placed the order I called Shane Webb to make sure I could secure that date as Shane manages the museum delivery program. Shane gave me the thumbs up so David placed his factory order for a Black 2019 Z06 Cpe with Black interior, 3LZ Pkg, Chrome badge Pkg, CF Instrument panel, Auto transmission, Chrome Wheels, Performance air intake, red stitching and much more. David and Jill drove from Nevada this past weekend and today they had the Red Carpet rolled out for their Z06 Museum Delivery.
In David's own words..." Mike Furman you're the best! We love the car and the Museum Delivery exceeded my expectations by far. Tail of the Dragon tomorrow the Blue Ridge Parkway later in the week. I can’t give Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet or the National Corvette Museum enough credit. Thank you for a truly amazing experience!" David S. Henderson, Nevada

~Kem and Susan H. of Fortson, Georgia are absolutely thrilled with the new Elkhart Lake Blue on their new 2019 Z06 cpe that they just picked up at the Corvette Museum.
I watched their delivery on the Museum webcam and the red carpet was rolled out for them. I even put them in touch with Adam, a fellow Corvette guy over at the Hyatt
so they could get a room close to the Museum.
"Thanks everyone. Couldn’t have asked for a better purchasing experience. Mike Furman and the NCM make a great team!" Kem H. Fortson, GA

~Chris B. of Soledad, California just bought his 3rd C7 Corvette from me. He received one of the first 2014 Limerock green Z51 cpes, then he bought a yellow Z06 and now he just took delivery
of a 2019 ZR1 Corvette Cpe as I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at a Chevrolet dealer in Salinas, California. Chris ordered his ZR1 in Sebring Orange with Orange design Pkg, Dual roof Pkg, Auto trans, CF painted mirrors and 3ZR Pkg.
Chris clearly doesn't let the 3,000 miles in between us get in his way from buying his Corvettes from me.

~Renee H. Of Coatsville, PA touched base last week about leasing a new 2019 Corvette. Renee and her fiancé Dion picked out of stock a Black Stingray Cpe with Auto transmission, Black Wheels, Black badges, Performance exhaust and 1LT Pkg.
So they made an appt. and they rented an Enterprise car and turned it at Criswell and drove home together back to Pennsylvania. I spoke with Renee on Thursday and I don't believe her feet have hit the ground yet...she loves her new Stingray!

~Paul C. of Indiana sent in a really nice letter to DealerRater...
Just received a great Dealer Rater review from Paul of West Lafayette, Indiana. Paul drove 650 miles each way to meet and discuss with me his 2019 Grand Sport Corvette Factory Order.
~"I had been following Mike Furman on his web page and the Corvette Blogger and just knew he was the one I wanted to buy my Corvette from. As a dentist, I have traveled many miles and paid big dollars to listen to speakers I felt would help me be a better dentist. Mike is that kind of expert with tremendous knowledge of Corvettes that I needed to learn from and trust to help me make the right decisions in building my dream car. I also chose Criswell because of their large stock of Corvettes that would also help me in making my choice.
I found Mike not only to be professional, but also courteous and desirous in seeing that I got exactly what I wanted. Thanks to him, I chose the perfect combo of color, accessories and had it topped off with a museum delivery. I couldn't be happier with the result! Hopefully I will be purchasing a next generation Corvette C8 from Mike and Criswell in the coming years. Criswell is truly blessed to have such an employee on their staff!
Sincerely, Paul C. of Indiana.

~Yesterday Greg B. showed up after driving 650 miles from Southern Indiana, Greg lives 15 miles from Louisville, KY and wanted to see Elkhart Lake Blue metallic in person. I had sent
him tons of pictures back in the first week of October but he didn't let the 650 miles get in his way. I met him at Criswell at 7:15am and we were done before the dealership opened up.
Greg ordered a Grand Sport...in Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic!

~Other deliveries that left the yard...I am certified to sell all 9 brands that Criswell carries on the different campuses.

Kevin, My friend from the Golf Club picked up a new 2019 Traverse.

A former service mgr that I worked with picked up a new Hybrid Chrysler van for his wife.

Keven L. is a C7 Corvette customer but chose to buy a new Lifted Silverado from me...and the wife will get his Colorado that he bought from me this Summer. This is one cool truck!!

~The Frank Class Corvette Barn find and throwback section...Post up your favorite pic.

Jessica Alba with her Corvette.

~Have a great week.

A great thread to start Sunday morning. These two SWC's certainly warrant duplicate pictures if anything does. It helps ease the pain of looking at some of those barn finds early in the morning. Love the delivery shots of the SO ZR1. That dude is obviously living his dream based on the pics. Out of curiosity Mike, what is the current cost of a courtesy delivery or does it depend on or vary by dealer? Thanks for the awesome thread! Never disappoints.

Option list: Competition Seats, Shark Gray stinger hood stripe, Shark Gray vents, 7 spd manual transmission, 2LZ Pkg and Red seat belts.
Mike, first, great to have a Sunday thread to read through thanks.

Second, regarding the above bolded options/combo, how much input did you have on Mark B's option list? Because that is one hell of a unique 1 of 1 Z06 and imo, the nicest combo of any year of the C7 I have seen so far... show stopper from the ground up.

PS. that overhead shot the of silver 63 SWC resto-mod with the red interior and what i believe is an LS7 is fantastic.

couple pics from a Rally last month to AC you can use one day down the road when these are 20yo and you're still doing Sunday Threads (in Retirement!!!)

I would say a drop ship for Courtesy delivery averages in the $500 range.

Thank you Mike for another great Sunday delivery thread. And are you ever delivering new Corvette after new Corvette! Never ceases to amaze me that they are flying out the door under your guidance/expertise.

Well done Mike!

I love this basic, but gorgeously beautiful Corvette.
