Default 88 Callaway #048 photo update

Hi. I need to host recent pics of my CTTC, so am making a thread here as I also have a 94 ZR-1 and there is some community overlap. These were taken in May. Car is clean but not detailed and has only been driven onto and off of a transporter since it was photographed.

Default 88 Callaway TT

Love your red Callaway TT. That Twin Intercooler engine rocks! I also have an 88 Calaway TT Vert, # 16 that I found last year. I haven't seen very many other 88 TT's around. Maybe I'll get to see your car at a Callaway gathering someday. Kevin

I’d love to make it back to Carlisle sometime. It would be cool to have a CTTC reunion.

We had some great threads back in those days. My guess, most have sold their cars, moved on, or passed away.

...there has been a Callaway Reunion every 5 years (1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017) at Corvettes at Carlisle. They have been amazing, as I've been to all but the 1992 event. Next one is 2022.
In the "off years", there's still the COG parking area which is usually overflowing on Fri/Sat and I think there were several 1987 B2K cars this year, and a sweet yellow Aero 1990 B2K.

Very nice! You have a special car there. I see you have some nice mods, too. TPIS/AS&M runners? How do those fit between the intercoolers? I had a set of those for my '87, but they were too wide to fit without 'clearancing'. Alum radiator, power effects exhaust, what else you got lurking in there?

Heh, I’d forgotten about the runners. Surf, those are extrude honed, I think?

the base was extrude honed, the runners didn’t need it as they were made from extruded aluminum by AZ Speed & Marine.

Adding current pics. Car was already pretty clean, but a little "soap and water" shows it off better.

Took the center out of the inner fender for access.

Buttoned back up.
