What's with Tesla drivers?
So I had the Z for 5 or so weeks now. Driven it almost daily. All my trips were emotional... this car is amazing, I definitely made the right choice buying this beast. Funny observation so far, almost every time I drive this car I have someone that wants to go or they are up in my *** tailgating. So far 50% of time it was a guy in a Tesla. Anyone else experience the same? Maybe its a Toronto thing but seems like Tesla drivers are itching to prove how fast their cars are.
Nothing against Teslas, fantastic cars just not my cup of tea.

Never had that issue with tesla's. Most of them are actually conservative drivers. It's the prius drivers that drive like a-holes. Why get a fuel efficient car if you're going to max it out every time you're on the road? The most aggressive drivers i encountered are prius drivers and people in SUV's. Doesn't matter what kind. All of them.
But when i'm in my Z, i usually get BMW drivers ride my rear bumper. It's annoying. All i do is go slower. They get the hint and finally switch lanes.
I'd be careful about those tesla's though. With the proper package and an owner who fiddles with the settings, you're looking at a rocket that will definitely give a Z a run for it's money, especially from a dig.

I'm waiting for one foolish enough to play me on the roll.

The only issue ludicrous mode brings is that it destroys the charge. If you're doing 1/4 runs in any ambient temp other than in the middle of summer, back to back runs it'll do just fine. Until the batteries go dead.
But if you're driving aggressively with this car in summer heat, then yes each pass will get slower, but not by much.
Tesla's are no joke.

I like those cars, so my comment is directed at some of clowns driving them not the cars.

I have a Tesla P90 D, it's fun to drive a car without any sound at all, and still have performance, it's nice "sometimes" to NOT hear the Akrapovic and listen to the birds chirping, well once a month anyway.

I actually appreciate all speeders blasting ahead to find the radar traps for me.
A co-worker gave me a ride in his Tesla. I was shocked! The brain doesn't know how to process instant, silent acceleration. It is a bit like when you are on a plane
and it feels like it is dropping and your stomach goes into your throat. I had seen those videos of passengers in a Tesla freaking out when the driver put it in "ludicrous" mode.
Now I understand.

But they still trap less. 1/4 mile is all about that 60ft. I could do a 2.0 60 ft get beat by the !00D in the 1/4 but the !000D is getting left by bus lengths on the highway. That is why the 1/4 doesn't always show who is faster when WFO! The race is too short. Much rather do highway racing much easier on the drive line too!
