Default Who repairs C2 Corvette clocks?

My Corvette's clock isn't working, even though I've checked it's getting power. Anybody know someone who repairs these? And if not, a used or new replacement?

I just had my 59 vette clock repaired by "The Clock Works". They received the clock last Friday November 9th. I have been informed that hey already ship the clock, two days delivery. So I should be getting it tomorrow or Friday. I am impressed with their turn around. Other members' of this forum had similar experiences. I can not tell you the quality yet but other members have given them very high marks. Corvette Clocks is all they do.http://www.clockwks.com/The_Clock_Worx.html

X2 - this company removed the quartz conversion from my 63 clock and installed an OEM Borg movement for judging - quick turn around and very reasonable pricing. I think you can pay a slight premium for an even faster turnaround if needed...

I bought 2 Corvettes and neither clock worked.

On one it had a burned out coil from the classic problem of contacts welding themselves together (luckily for previous owner, burnout was contained to clock). I replaced that one with the quartz movement.

On the other car it had just stopped due to dust seizing the movement. I found forum advice telling me to soak it in a solvent and then re-oil it with clock oil. It worked like a charm.

Both of them are running fine after 7 or so years. I had no prior clock experience but found it a relatively easy and rewarding thing to do myself !

Corvette Specialties of Maryland West, Bill Harrison of Florida, and Clocks by Roger in Tennessee have all done work on my Midyears. Other good firms around as well that others may have experience with. As a side note, I've got a restored 63 available if you need a already refurbished one quickly.
