18x11 Offset on Z07
Hi guys,
I'm doing some research on fitting 18x11 over CCB up front with 315/30/18. Some of you gave me a good info but I want to confirm one more thing before I order the rims.
18x11 with +30 offset pretty much matches the inside of tire/wheel as the stock and should have enough clearance for CCB since the face of the rim should sit at the same location as the stock one.
However, it will push out outside of the rim by 26mm. I'm not sure what kinda ill effect that will have. None of you seem to have any issue but lot of guys are running +38 with steel rotors. I might want to shift the rim inward by few mm.
Can someone with CCB and 18x11 chime in and share your offset? I can push out the rim with the spacer easily but it's lot more trouble to pull it inward.
Thank you

Here is how a CCW Corsair C10 wheel originally made for a C6Z/ZR1 fits on a C7 Z with the ceramic brakes.
Showing clearance between caliper and spokes. There is enough that I can almost get my fingers between the two.
Looking up under car showing clearance to inside of wheel well and brake duct.
Looking down on front wheel showing how far tire is out of fender.
I don't know what offset the wheels are but I purchased them from a guy who was tracking a C6 ZR1. The C6Z had an option for ceramic brakes and they came standard on the C6 ZR1. The same calipers and rotors that fit those cars will bolt right on a C7Z with no issues and vice versa. The only difference between the C6 rotor and the C7 rotor is a hole in the hub area that is used to fasten the rotor to the hub flange on the C7Z. Other than that everything else is identical and the parts are interchangeable. I am pretty sure any wheel designed to fit over a C6 ceramic brake setup will fit just as well over a C7 ceramic brake setup.
The rear brakes aren't the same between the two models but the 18x13 wheel is so wide it isn't an issue.

My fitment is 18x11 et38 and 18x12.5 et50
sold over 200 sets of 18” for C7Z in 30 months (1/2 are ccb)
I have zero complaints. My own personal track guru went with 18x13 at first and we found out the inner rim rubbed on the control arms at full extension at the track or on a lift. So there is no real benefits of going with 18x13 since 18x12.5 fits 345 slicks just fine.

Yes, the 18x13s touch the UCAs. They also touched the C6 UCAs. I had to lower the car before torquing the wheels down. I never had an issue with the wheels rubbing while on track because I placed a .3 inch spacer behind them. You can use them the same way the C6Z and C6 ZR1 guys did.

I found that even with the 18x13 et56, it still touches the UCA. That is about as much poke/flush as most would run.
