New Xpel Ultimate Plus
Got my new GS pretty much condomized with the stuff and it is amazing. Tons of shine, no orange peel and the paint looks 10 feet deep
I had Xpel Ultimate on my 2014 Z51 and it great stuff, even after almost 5 years of daily driving but this new Plus stuff is unbelievable. I'll get some good pics over tbe weekend but man.....you gotta check this stuff out!

Wow, I just can't see spending that kind of $$$ considering what minor damage you have over time as a result of driving with a little common sense.
However your $$$ and to each their own.

Did you wrap the whole car? What do you notice different about Ultimate vs the regular stuff. Thx

My car gets pretty much daily driven in all weather except snow. So for me, it makes sense to protect the paint as much as possible especially since I do a LOT of show and shines. YMMV of course. This is my new Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic Grand Sport. As for cost? Since I got 10 grand off MSRP, I have some playing room....
I had the entire front covered, right back to the leading edges of the doors, headlights, rockers, door bottoms (up to cove), mirrors, door trailing edges (and hand recesses), entire rear fenders, brake ducts and leading edge of spoiler. Oh and the darkest window tint I could be legal with in Oregon as well and a flat black hood stinger
I had my 2014 Z51 done the same way but the Ultimate Plus didn't exist at that time but I was very pleased with the Xpel material. Never had swirls, scratches, etc. with it nor any noticeable orange peel. This new stuff however, seems even better! Like I said in my OP, this stuff is simply amazing looking. I will get some pics posted after I have a chance to take some shots later today

I got pretty much the same coverage on my GS, and absolutely love the look. Orange peel is pretty much gone, and you're right- the clear coat looks a mile deep. I work and drive in Yuma, and there are a LOT of rocks on the road. I got a nice rock chip on the hood before I got the Xpel, Hopefully the Xpel will prevent more.

Going to be checking out the Xpel Ultimate Plus on my car soon. I have the Ultimate film on my DD and yes, it protects the car very well.

Looks great. My car is at the installer as I type. Pretty much same package but I added the Scrape Armour to my front end since I have the carbon fiber split-er. The installer has a sheet of the Ultimate Plus in the show room along with a wire brush so you can do the test yourself. It is amazing that you can scratch the hell out of the stuff and then hit it with a heat gun for a few seconds and all the scratches go away. Hard to believe until you actually experience it.
Enjoy the new car and as always be safe out there.

That 3rd pic is the money shot, you can see how clear and deep it looks. What a beautiful car, I have a Deep Space Blue wrap on mine at the moment. I'm wondering how the Expel would look on my arctic white. Thanks, L8R ZFLASH

I have my GS Vert done a month ago with Xpel Ultimate Plus. Entire front (headlights, mirrors, A pillars), and entire both sides. Only the back, trunk and tonneau cover were not done. I love it! Bugs come off so easy now. Tar is a bit harder than bugs, but much easier than without Xpel. I immediately put several layers of Zaino (Z-2, Z-CS, Z-8) on top of the Xpel.

Back from a 200+ mile trip to the Oregon Coast (got the PS3+ A/S mounted yesterday.)
I have to say the Grand Sport is MILES above my Z51 in handling, response, etc. I am stoked!
(335 miles on car now)
