Greetings all,
Brand new Corvette owner, well the Corvettes' not new but I am. Proud owner of 2006 Corvette convertible, silver with black top. Had to do a radio nav conversion because somebody stole the map unit. In the process that destroyed the radio shifter bezel. I'm in the process of trying to figure out the best way to replace it. I have heard tell that people are putting an 08 and up radio bezel in the 2006. If anybody has any information on this I would like to know. Hopefully the 08 radio shifter bezel is cheaper than the 06. It will definitely look better than the straight 2006 bezel. Looking for some caliper covers , red at the right price.

Caliper covers are generally They're easily painted, and look much better IMHO...

Good Luck!!

Moving this over to the C6 General section for some assistance with your questions.

As for the caliper covers, check with some of our forum vendors or look through the C6 Parts for Sale/Wanted Section. You could also post a wanted to buy thread in that section.

Welcome! You will have your machine in fine shape in no time, lots of help to be found here on C6 General.
Radio console available on Ebay...Radio Console link This one doesn't have the Selective Ride Control so make sure this fits.

You might get better help in the audio forum https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...lectronics-20/
Just paint the calipers on your car, the covers look cheap and cheesy.

Welcome aboard! The 08 and up bezels don’t have the Tombstone and look much better. As stated above, painting the calipers looks better and is cheaper than caliper covers.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your C6. There should be some helpful information for you in the Audio forum. I have had good results buying items through the Parts For Sale forum so be sure to check there regularly.
Good luck and enjoy your ride!

Please don't buy caliper covers...G2 makes excellent high temperature paint in a kit for your calipers in many colors

Welcome. Congratulations on your first vette. Where are you located? You can update your profile to show your location and maybe a picture of your car. Even though we’ve all seen a sliver C6 convertible, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Default Update!!! Thanks for all your replies

Thanks for all the help! I did get the radio bezel sorted. I had a broken bezel due to radio theft that happened with previous owner. Found an acceptable replacement online cheap (150 bucks) and had it dipped carbon fiber. Used the new vents and some other switches. Looks very nice! It was a chore to get the old bezel out and new in, but it was worth it. New Kenwood unit with nav/ camera and red calipers now . Loving it! Having an issue with the map lights staying on dim after LED replacements....something to with a small power drain... LEDs apparently will glow 24/7. Had dead battery twice due to this but now I just use the battery tender. I should check the forum more often. Regards
