Semi-Permanent Jacking Pucks?
When we head south during winter, I put duct tape over the shipping slots in the frame and remove it when we're out of the snow and salt zone.
Although the frame has other openings someplace, when I remove the duct tape there is never any water/slush/salt inside, so it works.
At 8 yrs/102k miles, our C6 had no rust and no salt inside the frame.
Putting that tape on can be difficult in cold weather and removing it down south is inconvenient, so I'd like to use four of the stay-in-place jacking pucks instead. I'm looking for something that's relatively easy to install and remove, but big enough to completely cover the slot and tight enough to keep out the slop.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

Someone makes plastic pucks that snap in place and stay there yet very low profile but work just fine for jacking. Trying to remember the vendor (had 'em on my '14 and want them again for my '19!)
They were like $50 or $60 for the set as I remember

YES... the ZLI Addons, without a doubt. I have them and it sound to me like they are exactly what you are wanting.

I use a set of BMW jacking pucks on my car. Pucks stay in place but can be removed if desired.

I bought mine on Amazon for $39.99. They were fairly well made. I keep an extra Allen wrench in the rear storage in case two need to come off to tow the car on a flatbed. Hopefully that will never happen.
