After having owned and sold a 1963 coupe several years ago, I recently came back into the fold by purchasing a 1964 coupe. The latter came with modern Boyd Coddington wheels which I would like to replace with a set of finned replica wheels with knock-offs. Unfortunately, the websites of the numerous vendors I’ve visited don’t provide a great deal of information as to wheel widths or their fitment to all C2 models. In other words, can I install 1965-1967 wheels on my 1964, or did the lug patterns/drum or disc sizes change from year to year? The previous owner installed aftermarket discs in the front, but I still have the stock drums in the rear. I would prefer to purchase the darker version of the new wheels as well, but don’t know if they would fit. Any guidance would be appreciated. Henry

If the previous owner installed front disc rotors that are stock diameter (11.75"), then the '65-'67 wheels will fit all the way around with zero issues.
BTW...beautiful '64.

That is a great looking 64.....sold mine 2 years ago....and when ever I sell a car I always end up with sellers remorse....if I had the car you have it would still be in my garage!
Henry, welcome to the Corvette Forum, it is certainly a terrific looking '64, Coddington wheels and all...
You say that the previous owner installed 'aftermarket' disc's in the front. I believe the answer is that they likely will fit, but since the installed disc's are not factory there is a possibility that they may not. The best thing to do is see if someone in your area could lend you a factory style wheel to see if it will clear your front caliper. If you could post a picture of one of the front disc set-up's it might help clear things up also.
Just for informational purposes, the replicas are 6" wheels and the 65-66 have the darker background. For the same price you can choose a wheel from all the vendors that bolt to the hub just like the steel wheels and then use the same cones and spinners as the knockoff wheels. Refer to 'bolt-on knockoffs" on the vendor sites. With that setup, the look is exactly the same as are the spinners but the spinners don't actually hold the wheel on. That eliminates issues you might have with properly mounting and tightening the spinners with a lead hammer
Rear drums are 3/4” narrower on each side than discs on C2 Corvettes, however this won’t keep the later C3 wheels from fitting. The lug spacing has been 5 x 4 3/4” forever, so that’s not an issue either. We need to know what front discs are installed in order to help you determine if a 15” wheel will still fit. Here's a picture of the bolt on knockoffs on my 65. One other note, the 65 has chrome cones and the 66 has brushed cones. Many many people have put them on a 64 with no issues

That's great as it will relieve all the speculation as to what should work. With the front disc conversion it could have pushed the front wheel track out wider than stock. If nothing else it will help you confirm tire size.
