Time for winter mods! Just because you cant or dont want to drive it doesn't mean you cant spend quality time and money on it to make it better. Even if it is just detailing the **** out of it.

“I feel your pain”
Living here in Las Vegas, we are lucky that we can drive our cars all year long. If I had to put my car away until next spring, I would go crazy. Again, I really feel for all of you, but as said above, just think of all the time you will have fixing up your Vette, so that it feels like a brand new car again! Just keep thinking about that day to come when you start to drive your “brand new” car next spring.

Winter is a nice break for me to catch up on stuff I want to do to the car. Mines supposed to be a weekend car, but I’ve managed to put 30K miles on it the 4 years I’ve had it. Keep in mind I started driving mine in May and we had our first snowfall Sep 30. Add another year on top of that for deployments and TDY’s that I cant drive, my driving season is pretty slim.

Had to park mine a couple weeks ago. Just the routine up here. I've never had a heated garage and don't do much for mods (Just want to drive it) so I'll cover it up and uncover when winter breaks. I've got winter activities so it's ok for me - time to go skiing and more.

Mine is in the garage for a few weeks now. I put the winter tires on, junk Goodyear's, Michelin's are in a warm basement, put new dryer sheets on the 2X2's that surround the car, stuffed the old ones in the wheels, trickle charger is green, come on spring.....

Mine sits 7 months out of the year... but ...I've something else much more visceral to drive during the time my Z is "resting".

Here in Indy we have had freezing rain and snow already, but I don't think I'm not going to put her up for the year just yet. I think we will have at least one or two days left, at least I'm hoping! You know those winter days when it hits about 45 to 50 and sunny and when it happens I'll be there with fob in hand, even if it's only a light hearted 30 minute cruise, I'll take it.
