Default How big of rims can you before you run into problems

Can you put 19 20 combination and are the tires alot more money and does it create some problems, are the C7 a 19 20 combo ? and what seems to look best..... I think I was looking at one with a OEM C7 set up and it looked good.

There seems to be alot of wheel tub area left with the stock set up, just wondering how far you can push it.....without drivability problems

Thanks....

I run 20's all around
Rear 10.5" 305/25/20
Front 10" 295/25/20

Even with the low profile tires the ride quality is better than I thought it would be, coilovers & drop spindles help, I did my own alignment & even with the wide front tires I do not get any wander or tramlining, and the handling is fantastic.

If I was to make any changes in the future & I find a new wheel combo I like, I would run a 21" rear & 20" front combo.

What are the pro's/cons of going with 20" all around vs staggered 18" 19" or 19" 20"?

That's an interesting tire combo you have, there.

Are they " Rims " or are they " Wheels " ? You are going to have a hard time finding hubcaps for " Rims " above 18 inches. However " Wheels " do not need hubcaps.

Almost square, I wanted to keep the same diameter or close to it, but wider in the rear, I actually narrowed the rear from an 11" to a 10.5" & the lip is deeper in the rear than the front, but both are listed as 2" lips.

You will probably get more negative than positive when you mention 20's, I originally had 19/19 & decided to upgrade my rears to 20", but had an issue with spoke design that would not allow it to be machined exactly like the 19" front I already had, but was never informed of this until I noticed it myself. I sat on the idea for about a year, & decided to do a full 20" setup, & so far I am extremely happy with the combination, I like the more aggressive look of the 20" spokes which are thicker, and with the coilovers & drop spindles I get the low look I like & still get a nice ride & it still handles like a Corvette should, I am not afraid to drive it aggressively when I can, & I am not afraid to experiment & have learned a lot about suspension geometry as well.

I will admit these cars look best with a staggered setup as the rear wheel well opening is larger than the front, so nothing wrong with 19/20 or 19/18, it all depends on what you really like, you can even run 18/18 or 19/19.

I have 19's on all corners... 19 X 10 on the fronts and 19 X 13 on the rears, with 345 / 35 / 19.
