Any great deals on C5 lowrise headlights? I'd like to upgrade my '02 coupe first, then do the GS next year. Only so much $ in the mod budget!

Not yet. The shrouds had to be slightly re-designed and we're still working on a reliable sourcing solution for the shrouds. Once I have that figured out, I will run a GP sale on these lights.

Figured I'd respond this thread since there seems to be some issues with the Morimoto "fix" harness not working quite the way everybody had expected for the Gen1 Morimoto bi-LED headlights.

George (Radio Flyer) sent me one of his harnesses a month or so ago and it works great. There is a separate harness for each side. Its about a foot long. Two plugs ... one into the headlight and other into the OEM harness. No need for the fuse tap that came with the Gen1 Morimoto lights. It works exactly as advertised. White hockey stick is the DRL. Ambers are the turns/flasher. White hockey stick goes out when amber comes one, then comes back on when amber goes off. Flash to pass works without the low-beams being on. No hyper flash. Exactly like the C7 works. No fuse tap. Everything is tucked under the headlight so you never see anything. The harness and plugs are first-class parts.

I notice it is on sale in this thread ... if you want C7 functionality for your Gen1 lights with no extra fuse taps, etc., get this one. It works.

If you're referring to the night flyer package or the HID/LED upgrade, no. These are bulb replacements only (which makes installation MUCH easier) The Projectors are decent quality and with a good light source provide excellent visibility at night on even the most rural highways.

Very tempted at this price point for your harness for the Morimoto lights seeing as how Morimoto royally fucked up their harness.

How do the resistors mount to the car?

Ok thanks. I'm thinking that my project housings themselves need to be replaced as well and new bulbs simply won't help.

the resistors have bolt-holes and included stainless hardware. They are designed to be mounted using an existing hole on the sub-frame as shown below:
