Is it possible to open a 65 soft-top without it being installed? I can only open mine about halfway. I'm trying to see if the white top can be cleaned and saved. I've oiled the pivot points, so not sure what I'm doing wrong. BTW, it's the front half that's stuck.

I would it expect it to open as there are no locks. There is some leverage involved so having it mounted down would help

Thanks Phil! That was my exact thoughts. I'll oil the pivot points again to see if that helps. Now to figure out what to clean the soft-top with.
