Blind spot aspherical mirror POLL
I am wondering just how many people would change out there mirrors for a Blind Spot aspherical mirror.. I have driven overseas and once you have used these type mirrors you see how good they are...
The below links are what I am talking about explained much better than I can.

I simply use the cheapo, readily available, stick-on spot-mirrors on everything, and have for years.

I would be interested in such a product. I've got my mirrors adjusted really well and feel they cover 95% of what is alongside me. So if a different mirror gave me that extra 5% it would be nice.

Seems I was not fast enough for a poll... I will get with the mods and see if I can get this fixed

Adjust them properly and blind spots are a non issue

I bought a right side mirror, flipped it over and siliconed it to my driver's side mirror. No blind spot. I did this 3 years ago. I think it cost $50 and haven't hit anyone since.

So I just recently learned that I was taught how to adjust my mirrors incorrectly since I started learning how to drive(1990). I set them correctly after reading about the proper technique, and yes...... there is no longer a blindspot. However, I have had my mirrors set incorrectly for so long that I am not comfortable with the "correct" way, especially in fast moving traffic. When I am lane hopping I always use the side mirror to view traffic coming up on me, not an option with the mirrors set all the way out. After about three weeks of trying I had to revert back to the "wrong" setting and I will continue to turn my head to check my blindspot like I have been for years. I just don't know if I can stick another mirror on them for the blindspot monitoring.

Sorry, I don't have a blind spot. I have a bald spot but that only has issues when the top is down and I forget to wear my hat!

The mirrors would be a good OEM option, but am "calibrated" to the sight picture of the current mirrors and not interested in doing aftermarket replacement...
I quieted my blind spot concerns by adjusting the mirrors as noted in other threads and developing a new traffic checking habit.. Changing lanes to the left is a non issue, and when moving into the right lane, looking thru the right window and to the passenger mirror shows if a car is there, and I confirm I can see the car's grille in the center mirror before moving... Easy peasy...

I am good with my mirrors set properly and the ability to actually turn my head and take a peek if necessary.

I have a Tacoma with these mirrors. As for setting your mirrors correctly, there are no blind spots, use this stick on - you have no idea just how good these are until you use them. Before you are in the dark and don't know it. Once you use them you see the light.
