Default Corsa Headers

Anyone tried the new Corsa Long Tube headers? Price is right and they will mate right up with a Corsa catback system.

When you say "price is right", how much are you seeing them listed for? Link please.

I see the price on Jeggs for a C5 Corvette is 1299.00 lowest price guaranteed but you also need their connector pipe for a C5 which is 299.00.

Same question, lowest I see them for is $1K+, headers only. Not saying that's terrible, but it doesn't send a shiver down my spine.

But axle backs dont connect to long tubes. Do you mean xpipe?

The Borla XR-1 LT's come with a X pipe that connects to it. It's by far the cheapest LT's I found compared to other name brands.

Any chance you could share the details on those? I already have the Extreme's axle back, and seriously thinking about LT and X pipe now that winter has started here in the Northeast. I actually already have an X pipe (Corsa) and looking into headers, but if it's better/easier to get a package, I will (and sell the Corsa X pipe). I don't really want to break the bank either, plus, I don't know all that much about headers.

I'm also curious as to the overall sound with LT, x pipe and the Extreme's. I've read on other posts it becomes SUPER loud with headers.

Unless they want to undercut the established header brands, I don't see any big draw to the corsa headers unless you happen to have a corsa catback, the borla LT's + X pipe sound interesting....but again, price needs to be 20%+ lower than ARH/SW/Kooks/SLP etc. to make sense.

I know some of the header companies DO make mufflers/catbacks, but in the same analogy, does anyone see ARH catbacks breaking into the Corsa/Borla/Billy Boat/Magnaflow market share? no.

Corsa Website...

$1150 headers only
$400 for two 12" straight sections "connector pipes" with a flanges on them.....GET BENT.

$1150 headers only is not hateful from a big name brand. Then fab your own midpipe for couple hundred in stainless material.
