Default DSC Controller V4

Hey everyone,
So I see that the 4th version of the great DSC Controller is out now and being sold by Katech and others.
Does anyone have any experience with V4 or additional information on what’s new in this version?

thanks

Upgrades to the processor. Mike always yelled at me for trying to log too many channels at once. LOL. They also made some improvements to the terminals. Some people were not being gentle when pushing the main connector in and it was causing some damage to the terminals so they have gone with something that is more robust.

It's also a shorter box with the USB connection on the end rather than in the middle. It makes the install a little easier.

in which part do I need the USB connection? Isn’t it only for modifying the tune?

Believe me, they're working on it. I tested another firmware update they thought would fix it last weekend. Unfortunately it didn't. I know Mike really wants to get this sorted soon.

Just an FYI setting ride height via laptop which activated the velocity tuning was a game changer. Huge improvement in all modes. No more bounce in tour, sport felt more controlled, and I’m getting less edge tire wear on the track than last time. The wear is more even not just right on the outer edge like before but more on the whole outer treadblock.

Guys,
i got the V4 today and before the installation on my 2017 Z06 I was wondering if there’s anything special I need to know or to do?
Im going to install it as is without modifying the tune with a computer- is this ok?

In addition, do I need to let the car sits for a while after the installation or when I’m done I’m good to go?

thanks!
