Default I went for a ride...

I went for a ride yesterday to visit my son in college, and it rained all the way there and back. The car handled great in weather mode, the temperature was in the mid forties (great Louisiana weather) no problems with the summer tires either. I told my wife when I got back home my ears were ringing, because I had the music cranked up for the 2 hour drive. Stereo sound great to me. I really liked my other corvettes that I have owned, but I just think this car is amazing. But I tell you the car was filthy, I didn't realize that dirt could be in so many small places. So I spent about half the day cleaning the car.

Part of the fun is getting her clean again. Washing my car is almost therapeutic for me!

Please feel free to wash mine anytime. In fact, I’ll pay you.

For decades I used to enjoy washing my cars. My knees and back say not anymore.

Great looking car and as others have said, detailing the car can be therapeutic.

Great looking C7, but then I'm partial to your color scheme.
I like cleaning my vehicles up too.

Knee's and Back will only get worse when Parked. No Excuse for a Dirty Corvette
Same issue here.Power threw it with Ibuprofen or Cannabis.Know people on the oil.Works for them.Worth a shot.Oxy's are out!
So is the Doctor...Happy Motoring and Detailing

I agree with you that the C7 has an excellent sound system. Mine is a 1LT and lacks the rear subwoofer, but if its set right, it just works. The 3-channel tweeters on the dash really focus the sound around the driver and passenger evenly, and the door mounted woofers don't put out so much bass as to overpower the high notes.

My only complaint is that you have to keep the windows up if you want the full benefit of the sound system. Once the windows are rolled down or the top is off (mine is a hard top) the sound just broadcasts and you can't hear it anymore over the wind and road noise.

I found using the Metro Blaster to dry vehicles really helps save time and my knees and back feel a lot better. Metro Blaster not cheap but works great and gets water out of all those spots that water likes to hide.

Great choice in color and agree about weather mode .

I’ve thought about getting one of those. The hand drying process is the worst part.

I'm getting one too. I just had mine paint corrected and ceramic coated.
I was shown how easy it is to blow dry water off the car. No more towel drying for me.

Also, good color choice.

Driving in the rain no problem, cleaning it up afterwards not one of my favorite things to do but way easier using a waterless wash.

Leaf Blower works great. I can't imagine having another one use tool in the garage. If it only does one thing, it has to go.

Yeah. There was a guy down the street from me that had a collectible car that he had painted for a lot of money. All he has ever used to dry it is a Craftsman leaf blower. The paint is perfect years later still. I use the same.

What a beautiful Vert and I'm sure glad you're using it. I was surprised to find out my car came with windshield wipers..
