Default '17 Single Turbo Z06 - NOT a dyno queen!

I've been on this board a long time. I thought my Dr Phil built '03 TTIx TT Z06 would be the best modded car that I would ever own. It was the true all-star player: 9.89@144+on 17" DRs, got 30 mpg on the highway, sub 200* ECTs and was reliable as the day was long. Then came this thing...

Cool things is...I've got ample room to turn things up for 2019. Big shout out to Presence Distribution, Tim King Performance and Crawford Racing for helping me to achieve my min and stretch goals for this project...Amazing team effort!

Didn't seem to matter much, no restriction in that turbo setup. Stock heads too. Hauling ***. I want to see some pics of the setup.

Best I can tell...there are ~10 or so C7 Z’s running 8’s. I think this one is ~ #4 on the list (all combos) and #2 with SBE/Stoc Trans and fastest turbo car.
The thing that impresses me most about the build is that all runs were made on 17’s, the same way i drive it on the street. Didnt think 1.30 60fts were possible on that setup. Too my surprise, didnt even have to bolt on the 15s.

It's just ridiculously impressive. Out of curiosity, how many gears does the 8 speed trans go through if your trapping in the 160's?

Earl, I was very happy to be there to see you and Tim set those low times with both your cars. That long distance drive seems well worth it doesnt it when you can get results like you guys got???.

Hard to imagine that anything would be worth a 36 hour trip (round) in 4 days ...but this truly was! It was the culmination of a lot of work from a few really talented and hardworking individuals. Big shout out to the AMP guys for hosting and allowing me to tag along. Bunch of great guys. Cant wait to get back down again...only this time without the hail, tornado and monsoon like rainstorm...lol. I think I drove the 1st 12 hours of my trip home from Texas to MI on adrenaline alone!

It was great to see how excited you wife got when you did your run. I think she knew the SECOND the time slip tape got pulled of the printer, Tim and I knew she was aware of it however when we could see her jumping up and down mid track!!! LOL

Damn it Earl! Love it bud so happy for you! That's what it's all about right there. And to do that on 17's holy hell. Mid-low 8's all day every day just incredible.

Congrats Earl!
Very pleased with the results. Looking though the data, we have room for even lower E.T.'s. 2019 is going to be fun!!!

Good Stuff,
Not that you can really call a Z06 a "sleeper" but I would say on the street it would be easy to mistake this car for stock. (minus the tires out back.)
No cam lope, no loud exhaust. Very cool!
