Default PSA Quickjack 5000

Costco has them on sale for $999+tx shipped. Discover and Chase Freedom showing 5% CB at wholesale clubs

https://www.costco.com/QuickJack-5,0...100460313.html

I finally pulled the trigger and figure someone else here might be interested.

Another PSA, none of the rubber blocks fit while using aluminum jacking pucks.

When I purchased my QJ, I bought all different sizes of the rubber blocks due to having multiple vehicles. I use different sizes on the front and rear. Previous owner of my vette lowered the front of the vehicle. I was LUCKY i ordered different sizes due to that. I have the GM leave in plastic pucks. LOVE my QJ!!!!

Thanks...been watching and waiting for them to go on sale...just ordered one.

update: Received my 5000 ordered from Costco and delivered by UPS. All 3 boxes damaged...boxes were ripped open and some banding straps had broken. I had the UPS driver document condition of boxes. During assembly I found a bad weld...contacted Coctco for an exchange...if the new unit has any issues I plan on getting a refund from Costco.

Not my experience...I have the Dewhel aluminum pucks that bolt in and I have no problems using the rubber blocks on my 2005. Amazon has them for $40. Way better than the plastic type pucks in my opinion.

I have the plastic leave in place pucks and the QuickJack fits with the rubber blocks. No issues. The fronts get close though. About a half inch of space between the rubber block of the QuickJack and the puck.

The Dewhel's do look nice. The plastic pucks are way over priced for what they are. If I would of known about the Dewhel's, they seem like a better option for the price.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone have a 7000? I just got mine this week and It appears that the 7000 is going to be a very close fit with the pucks in. I had to get a 7000 because of the different vehicles I'll be lifting. My plan this weekend was to slide them under from the side, and see if I could get the pucks in after the fact... But since I saw this thread I'd figured I'd ask here first...

If I can't get the pucks on plan B is to build ramps to get the Vette up high enough to get the ramps under...not the ideal solution but...

BTW I have a 2006 Z51 that is not lowered.

Thank you

The bolt in ones are much lower in height. The ones I have are the twist in, temporary pucks that are about twice as tall. Most of the aluminum ones are that way.

It is so easy to just drive up on 2 half inch wood platforms on the front and be done.

Even easier to use the aluminum pucks. No need to have ANY wood in your garage.

I guess that would matter if your car wasn’t lowered. Two 12x12 1/2” planks work just fine. Always has to be someone with a smart comment.

For me, the point of the quickjack was not to have to drive up on anything first. But you aren't wrong. That would always help get some extra space.

You have to use low profile pucks. Your car is so low, what's the point of using up all the available space with full size pucks?

Yea they look pretty nice. Wish you could still access the underneath from the sides though.

I have the 7000 and I use smaller rubber blocks in the front and the big ones in back. I have the GM plastic leave in pucks. My vette is lowered.
Love my setup.
