1964 327 Block #3782870---has VIN stamped and Assembly Date with RE code for 365HP Fuel Injected Corvette. Cast date is B284 (2/28/64) and Assembly date is 3/20/64. Updating this listing as the RE code was original thought to be RF.

Purchased for a street rod build---but saved it after figuring out what it was out of. VIN is a 14586. Standard bore---I had my machine shop look it over---should build at standard with forged pistons. They pressure checked it and all is good. Might possibly need a minimal bore.

$2000 plus shipping from Kansas City area. I couldn't find the Orphan Document page to list it in. The VIN is not in the C2 Registry. The pad is very clean with good detail. I'd first like to match up the block to the original car before having a friend list on other sites. Any ideas??

Looks like it's possibly an "RE" code????

Still good rated at 365 hp. Just runs the carb instead of fuel injection.
